Why did you elope?

An adventure elopement just felt like the right fit for us. We also love traveling, nature, and the great outdoors. The traditional way just wasn’t calling our name!

Why New Zealand?

Turns out New Zealand is one of the easiest places to get married overseas! The paperwork was so simple it made us question if it was legit (it’s legit). The breathtaking landscape didn’t hurt either.

I thought you mentioned a videographer? Where is the video?

Yes we did! We tacked that one on last minute, so it won’t be edited and ready for a few months. We will notify family and close friends when we receive word that it’s ready.

Are you accepting gifts?

Gifts are not expected. Your presence in our lives is gift enough. For those who have inquired or wish to contribute, we have set up a home fund here for all gifts, and are grateful for your generosity.

I think it’s weird that you didn’t have a traditional wedding. Why didn’t you invite me? Should I be upset?

No. We understand that an elopement has negative connotations for some, and how important traditions can be. This is what felt true to us, and we loved everything about it!
